ABC's "Good Morning America" featured the Autism Speaks project “MSSNG" this morning. The project will create the world’s largest database of sequenced genomic information on people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their family members. Autism Speaks is collaborating with Google to store sequenced data from MSSNG on the Google Cloud Platform, providing an open resource for scientists worldwide to access and share autism research.
The segment contained quotes from Autism Speaks President Liz Feld, Chief Science Officer Rob Ring and Board Member and fashion icon Tommy Hilfiger.
