The federal Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee (IACC) invites the public to a workshop titled “Under-recognized Co-occurring Conditions in Autism Spectrum Disorder” on Sept. 23, 9 am to 5 pm ET. The meeting, which will be webcast, will take place at the National Institutes of Health, John Edward Porter Neuroscience Research Center, in Bethesda, Maryland.
The workshop will focus on a range of health conditions that commonly occur in individuals with autism but continue to be under-recognized by healthcare providers. Participants will discuss how to best support research and increased community and provider awareness of these conditions.
Pre-registration
The meeting will be open to the public and pre-registration is recommended. Seating will be limited by room capacity, with expedited check-in for those who are pre-registered. Please visit the IACC website for registration information.

The meeting will be remotely accessible by videocast and conference call (USA/Canada: 888-469-0570; access code: 7134439). Members of the public who participate remotely will be able to listen but not comment during the meeting.
