“Autism represents a major health priority for children in the U.S., and it's critical that children affected by autism receive comprehensive, multi-disciplinary healthcare,” comments developmental pediatrician Paul Wang, Autism Speaks senior vice president for medical research. “Our ATN member sites provide a model of that kind of coordinated care, and we are not surprised that America's best children's hospitals are the ones that have stepped up to meet the ATN's requirements. We are working now to spread the ATN model to other institutions, so that all American children affected by ASD can get the great care they need.”
