Since its inaugural year in 2001, the International Meeting for Autism Research (IMFAR) has grown into the pre-eminent annual meeting of autism researchers, clinicians, therapists and parents and individuals affected by autism. Since its inception, Autism Speaks has been among the conference’s principle sponsors. And each year, a growing number of its funded scientists and clinicians are among those presenting and discussing their discoveries.
“This year we wanted to draw better attention to our research and researchers, as well as the many programs and partnerships that Autism Speaks has been fortunate to fund or participate in,” says Autism Speaks Chief Science Officer Robert Ring.
